Dr. Patrick N. Minges

Patrick Minges holds a research appointment in the Department of Religious Studies at Duke University. He earned a Ph.D. in Religious History from Union Theological Seminary in New York and an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia, and holds an MSA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He previously served as Publications Director at Human Rights Watch and as Publications Officer at Amnesty International USA. His research and books explore the cultural interactions between African Americans and Native Americans.
Originally from Gastonia, North Carolina, he now lives in Quaker Gap, North Carolina, and teaches at Stokes Early College.
